Having the ability to dunk in basketball is absolute must. It will add a whole new dimension to your game. You have will have an edge against all your opponents. Lean How To Dunk
The first thing you want to do is practice ball handling. If you can not handle the ball very well you are going to have trouble dunking. You will need to practice your run up to the hoop and work on extending your arms to the rim.
You will also need to choose whether you are going to go off of one foot or two. Pick the one that
is easier for you first. Then once you have mastered one switch to the harder one.
Dunking a basketball may be hard at first. I would recommend using something smaller to start off with. Try a volleyball or soccer ball since they are lighter.
Also you can start off by lowering the rim. If you can’t dunk at 10 feet try 9 feet and gradually get higher. Below are some videos that can help you learn how to dunk. Remember practice makes perfect so keep trying. Do not let your height decide whether you not you can dunk. I’m only 5 foot 7 inches tall and I can do it. It took awhile but eventually it happened.
